Walbro’s 450 LPH “turbine style” in-tank High Pressure fuel pump is the single highest flowing Intank pump we offer. Designed to reliably meet the fuel-hungry demands of turbocharged gasoline high performance engines, this pump is remarkably quiet and heats fuel less, due to the turbine rotor design. Walbro Engineers based the overall design on the same 39mm motor from the proven 255HP but changed from the old “gerotor pump” to a high performance “Turbine pump”. They also revised the motor assembly to allow for PWM fuel pump control or standard +12V. The turbine pump head uses two sets of turbine blades set in parallel on a common shaft (like a jet engine). The pump design pressurizes the fuel as it flows through the pump axially, without forcing the fluid to change direction – the end result is tremendous flow rates at a variety of different rail pressures and to suit various injector sizes.

 Walbro's 400 LPH "turbine style" in-tank High Pressure fuel pump is designed to meet the fuel-hungry demands of turbocharged gasoline high performance engines. The Walbro 400lph High Pressure unit can flow close to dual intank pumps or large externals but in a small, convenient and surprisingly quiet package. This pump is a great solution for high fuel requirement turbocharged cars >500hp and anyone looking to make big power and run high boost with a simple fuel system where the 255 won't suffice. This much fuel flow is not meant for use on engines <400hp.

Deatschwerks offers a new generation of high-flow fuel pumps with their unique 300 LPH high volume universal fuel pump.

Deatschwerks offers a new generation of high-flow fuel pumps with their unique 300 LPH high volume universal fuel pump. Each pump is flow tested prior to leaving their facility, much like the Deatschwerks injectors. Going a step above and beyond, each pump includes a 3-year "no-fault" warranty, which is a first for this type of aftermarket fuel pump.

Customers familiar with the Walbro 255 design of fuel pumps, such as the GSS342, will recognize the shape, but not the performance or sound. By using a turbine design instead of Walbro's gerotor design, volume is decreased while efficiency and reliability are bolstered. This is a brand new offering and not a relabeled competitor's product.

This universal kit includes a 2"x2" filter sock, electrical connector, small piece of fuel line, and miscellaneous installation hardware. A professional installer should be able to work with this universal kit in many vehicles, however, a vehicle-specific kit should be used, if available for your application.

This pump will require an aftermarket fuel hanger on an Evo X.

The EVO X Billet Fuel Rail features a large 0.69" ID bore to suit even the most fuel hungry engines. The rail is CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum and black dipped anodized for a high quality surface finish. It is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.

The Radium fuel rail is the first and only on the market to support an (optional) fuel pulsation damper. The opening and closing of the injectors creates pressure pulses in the fuel rail, which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. In order to achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure, a pulse damper should be used (especially with high flow injectors). The internal diaphragm will absorb oscillation pulses and stabilize fuel pressure. This correction can be measured throughout the RPM range and can often help an erratic surging idle.

SETUP SELECTION

Aftermarket Configuration This option does NOT include the Radium 14-0125 FPR Billet Adapter and thus it is not compatible with the OEM FPR. Instead, it utilizes a fuel injector Pulsation Damper for the 3/8" NPT port on the end of the rail. This setup requires an externally mounted regulator, such as the Radium ENgineering MPR sold separately. For flexibility, it also includes -6AN and -8AN male adapters that can be used on either the inlet or top 3/4"-16 ports. Custom lines such as PTFE hoses (sold separately) will be required.

OEM Configuration This option includes everything required to simply unbolt and replace the OEM fuel rail. First, an 14-0144 5/16" SAE to -6AN Male fitting is included to adapt the incoming fuel line to -6AN near the firewall. Next, a pre-fabricated ethanol compliant 23" long -6AN PTFE hose with a 90deg ends (one swiveling) is included to replace the OEM fuel line. The Radium 14-0125 FPR Adapter is included for the 3/8" NPT female end of the rail. This adapter allows for the use of the OEM fuel pressure regulator.

FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE

If a Radium mechanical gauge is required, select the 20-0075 Gauge/Adapter option above. A billet adapter fitting is included to replace the plug in the top surface port. The gauge then screws into this billet adapter fitting. The engine cover must be removed for installation of the gauge in the top port. Note: Both configurations listed above are compatible with this option. More information on the Radium fuel pressure gauge can be found HERE.

The Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (AFPR) is the ultimate solution for simple or complex high-flow fuel systems. It's unique port configuration make it ideal for combining multiple fuel pumps into a single feed line or vice versa. Because of this flexibility, it is also perfect for Radium fuel surge tanks by eliminating the need for an extra "Y" fitting.

The lower 2 opposing return ports are unique in that they flow parallel with the pressure ports eliminating the need for elbow fittings. Furthermore, the AFPR is the only regulator on the market that can be floor mounted. Alternatively, wall mounting can be accomplished by not using the included mounting bracket and simply mounting using the holes that pass through the body.

The AFPR's high-flow design has been tested to regulate over 1,400 liters per hour (see MORE DETAILS tab). Furthermore, with the addition of interchangeable return orifices, the AFPR can be used in ANY horsepower output EFI system imagineable.

The AMS EVO X Fuel Rail provides increased fuel flow which is necessary at higher boost levels. This CNC’d aluminum rail comes anodized in Red or Black and includes our signature AMS logo. With a -6AN (7.5 mm) diameter inlet and outlet it dwarfs the stock rail by over 25% in flow area. This is true bolt on part that will install with your factory fuel lines, fuel pressure regulator and will work with all factory style fuel injectors.

Included in our kit is a -6AN braided fuel feed line that increases fuel flow by 25%. Our line also makes your car safer by eliminating the hard factory fuel feed line that can crack over time from engine vibration.

This comprehensive installation kit includes everything needed to install a Radium Engineering single pump Walbro, AEM, Aeromotive, Deatchwerks, or Bosch equipped fuel surge tank (FST) in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.

All Radium FSTs are CNC machined from aluminum. They are fully anodized and use PTFE insulated wiring, submersible hose, etc. to make them alcohol (ethanol/methanol/E85) compliant. The Mitsubishi Evolution X install kit locates the FST in a collision-safe area, centered behind the rear seat but in front of the plastic paneling in the trunk (shown below).

This allows 100% of useable trunk space as the panel goes back on after the install. The powder coated aluminum bracket secures to OEM mounting bosses so no drilling or cutting is necessary. Furthermore, the OEM battery and windshield washer fluid bottle are retained and do not need to be relocated.

Also included are wiring components with flying leads featuring a weatherproof fuse and relay to drive the FST's fuel pump. Wiring is very simple and takes less than 30 minutes to assemble. No soldering is required.

Included are 4 PTFE hoses which are cut to length and preassembled. PTFE hose is perfect for all types of fuel, especially with high alcohol contents, such as ethanol (E85). Unlike standard rubber hose, PTFE is non-permeable and eliminates any possible fuel vapor smell in the vehicle. Radium PTFE hoses use anodized aluminum hose ends and are cut-to-length specifically for this application. The inner stainless steel braid resists extreme fuel pressures and is covered with black PVC which gives the hose added protection from debris and provides abrasion protection. Supplied in -6AN size only.

The new Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger for the Mitsubishi Evo X has been redesigned for improved fuel collection and easier installation. It completely replaces the factory in-tank fuel pump module and allows 1 or 2 aftermarket fuel pumps to be used.

The OEM level sender, fuel temperature, and fuel tank pressure sensors are retained in order to maintain factory functionality.

The fuel hanger can also be used with the included 8AN and 6AN adapter fittings, shown below, for installing aftermarket -AN style hoses.

Radium Engineering recommends upgrading the feed and return lines when using multiple pumps.

PREVENTING FUEL STARVATION

The kit includes a 1-piece anodized aluminum collector box that makes installation a breeze and keeps fuel trapped around the fuel pumps. As shown below, there is a 1-way fill valve incorporated in the bottom of the collector that allows fuel in, but not out. The collector box also stay full from the fuel returning from the pressure regulator.

One major issue with the stock EVO X fuel pump module is the restrictive venturi jet pump in the return line. It performs the important function of transferring fuel from the other side of the fuel tank to the pump module.

When using aftermarket high-flow pumps, the restriction in the fuel return creates unwanted backpressure resulting in unmanageable fuel pressure. Many installers will simply drill out the OEM venturi jet pump to reduce the restriction, but this compromises how effectively the venturi functions.

Radium Engineering has redesigned the siphon system to eliminate restriction but still effectively scavenge fuel. This means higher flowing pumps can safely be used without issue from the return system.

The newest addition to our product line is the largest high impedance injector ever by a long shot and will work for most of the guys running E85 or other high volume fuel. (DO NOT USE WITH "Q" or OTHER OXYGENATED FUELS.) Not only is it BIG, it provides a near perfect idle!

While this injector is not inexpensive, it provides single injector solutions when twin rails would otherwise be needed and there are additional savings in DYNO/TUNING costs due to its easy tuneability. The very linear performance of this injector, based on Bosch’s latest technology, makes tuning a breeze. This is the ultimate solution for all cars that come with high impedance injectors.

Important note: These fuel injectors are high impedance and do not require the use of a resistor box. If the vehicle in which this product will be used came with a resistor box from the factory (DSM / Evo / Etc.) you will need to remove that resistor box for these to function properly! The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport* for use in the Evo X (Set of 4.)

This collaboration has given the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs the high-performance tuner.

The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.

The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions.

• Injector Dynamics fuel injectors are the result of batch testing large quantities of specially modified fuel injectors, and then carefully matching them to within 1%, in sets based on their dynamic flow across the pulsewidth range. The result is vastly superior cylinder to cylinder consistency, even at very low pulsewidths.
• In addition to receiving tightly matched injectors, you will be provided with dead time compensation values across the entire pressure and voltage range of the injector. This data will insure that the compensations in your ECU work properly, and your air fuel ratios will remain consistent as atmospheric or voltage conditions change.
• Flowing in excess of 2000cc/min at 3 bar, the ID2000 will provide a smooth stoichiometric idle on small bore engines running E85, and it will do all this while maintaining strict linearity up to 95% duty cycle at 9000rpm
• With a pressure capability of 9 bar (130psi) this injector can flow as much as 3700cc/min with excellent low pulsewidth linearity, and has the broadest operating range of any injector on the market.
• Each injector includes the necessary adaptor top and electrical connector. The adaptor tops mechanically lock to the injector and also incorporate a 7 micron replaceable filter.

Upgrading the fuel system on an Evo X can be a lot of trouble if not thought out completely. It is very difficult to upgrade only one component without consideration for the others. The restrictive return line, the in-tank venturi jet pump system, the integrated fuel filter. All these, and more, create a complicated system to modify for high performance. If not thought out properly, issues will show up on the dyno, such as inconsistent fuel delivery, overly high fuel pressures, fuel starvation and more.
The Radium Complete Fuel Delivery System for the Evo X solves all these issues in one complete kit. Every details has been thought out and tested in real world conditions. The result is a bolt-on kit that performs as expected, capable of meeting the fueling needs of highly modified 4B11T engines.

WHATS INCLUDED
This comprehensive kit includes everything required to construct a high performance fuel delivery system for the EVO X. The title photo at the top of the this page shows the kit contents. The Radium fuel pump hanger, feed line kit, fuel rail, and pressure regulator completely replace the restrictive OEM fuel system with a setup capable of supporting well over 1,000hp. At the heart of the system is the Radium EVOX fuel pump hanger.

From the fuel pump hanger, the feed line kit passes fuel through a Radium in-line fuel filter using prefabricated -8AN PTFE hoses. The filter is mounted to the chassis under the car using a specially designed bracket that does not require any cutting or drilling for installation.

Kit comes standard with twin Walbro 450 pumps (Walbro F90000274 - 20-0642-02), a black Fuel Pressure Regulator (20-0623-00), and a stainless steel fuel filter (20-0246-03).
