Originally developed for demanding auto race applications, our premium oil filter is rapidly becoming a favorite among consumers for its durability and easy removal. Weve changed oil filters and several of our product development technicians are sportsman class drag racers. They insisted we offer an oil filter that corrected the headaches they experienced over the years changing oil filters.
Our Oil Filters Have Nuts
We have all been there: Whether its remembering where that disappearing canister tool is; or having oil leak all over your garage and yourself; or finally giving up and pounding a screwdriver through the filter just to get if off. Each of our automotive and marine oil filters comes with a 1 nut welded to the top of the canister so they can be easily wrenched-off with a standard tool. Our motorcycle and ATV oil filters come with a 17 mm nut.
Heavy-Duty Construction for Extreme Conditions To satisfy the demands of racers, our oil filter has many features over and above the requirements of most vehicles. We use thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris. The heavy-duty construction will withstand higher oil pressures found only in racing environments without bursting. The drilled hole on the nut is for a safety wire attachment. Required for many types of racing, the safety wire prevents blown oil filters from falling on the track and representing a hazard to other race vehicles. This extra engineering offers peace of mind for consumers who want only the best.

Our oil filters use resin impregnated cellulose filter media. This allows for higher flow rates while providing outstanding filtration. High filter flow rates are important in racing vehicles where heavier grade oil is used and the oil is pumped much faster than in a standard vehicle. When the engine is circulating oil at high GPM rates, the high-flow oil filter helps reduce the loss of pressure through the filtering process.

Our oil filters are ideal for high-end synthetic motor oil. Synthetic motor oil is said to offer improved flow performance at cold temperatures while providing superior protection against thermal degradation.
Our oil filters are covered by a limited warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and replaced using engine and equipment manufacturers recommended service intervals.
Our Performance Gold Oil Filters use a cellulose media bound by phenolic resin surrounding a metal inner core that provides structural strength to reduce the risk of filter collapse. The resin is the "glue" that holds the media fibers together and at the same time keeps "pores" open by keeping the fibers apart. The resin is cured to full strength during the element manufacturing process. Phenolic resin systems are an excellent choice for the high temperature demands of oil filters. Our filter includes an anti-drainback valve, when applicable, that prevents oil from draining back into the crankcase during engine shutdown. The anti-drainback valve is useful in situations where the filter is mounted horizontally which could allow backflow. We use rolled threads to help prevent stripping during installation or removal and an internally lubricated gasket provides a positive seal even after the filter has been removed and reinstalled.
AMS strongly recommends the use of the AMS Lancer Evolution X / Ralliart Boost Pill for any vehicle equipped with the SST transmission. Because of the highly advanced clutch engagement and disengagement of the SST transmission; Manual and Electronic boost controllers are highly inconsistent causing severe boost spikes inadequate boost control resulting in poor drivability and possible engine failure.
The stock Evolution X and Ralliart ECU both utilize 3D mapping for the boost solenoid duty cycle which in turn regulates boost throughout the entire RPM range. The AMS boost pill will allow you to safely and efficiently run higher target boost levels, eliminate unwanted boost spikes all while providing OEM drivability.

The colored handles are hard anodized. This process creates a longer-lasting, more durable finish for pieces that will be handled often. This process also creates a darker finish than typical anodizing.
AMS' manual boost controller is designed for quick spool up and steady boost control. Boost is easily adjustable by turning the top of the controller clockwise for more boost and counterclockwise for less boost. The boost level is secured with a jam-nut that prevents boost changes. All mounting hardware and silicon vacuum lines are included.
Compressor outlet heat shield for Full Race Turbo Kits.
We've installed quite a few Full Race EFR turbo kits in the past couple of years, and have noticed that the #4 runner is way too close to the silicon coupler on the compressor outlet. The couplers will fail from the heat.
Because of this, we have made this heat shield.
There are two different types. A more simple one for the larger frame turbos (8374/9180), and another one, with three sections for the smaller frame turbos, such as the 7670.
These are the "older" style Evo X spark plugs. These are compatibile with any of the 2008+ Evos and Ralliarts. They are the more desirable plugs that don't have the finer point on the ground strap. Comes in a set of four.
CFM Performance now makes it easy to vent the crankcase on your 2008-2015 EVOLUTION X 10 & 2009-2015 RALLIART with our new billet valve cover baffled breather kit. This kit is a direct replacement for your factory oil fill cap and allows unwanted crankcase pressure to exit.
This breather is the ONLY one in the market which incorporates a check ball to keep unmetered air from coming through while the crankcase is under vacuum. In other words, this breather acts just like a factory oil cap under normal driving conditions and when you get into boost it will release any crankcase pressure present. The proprietary internal baffle substantially reduces oil particle travel without affecting air flow. The filter element is washable and has a variety of top finishes for great looks. The pre-oiled cotton fiber traps dirt particles without restricting air flow. Although this kit was designed for use in racing applications, it works and looks great in any engine compartment.
884007P is a one-piece, direct replacement or upgrade to the standard, two-piece wedge collar and wire ring featured in pull-type clutches. The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is carefully calculated and tested for optimal performance. It provides uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to assure proper alignment, regardless of driver influence or vehicle modifications. Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
Bed-In Burnishing Instructions:
After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down. Your new pads are ready for use.
